I just bought one of these recenetly and have it in a KVM system.

After les than 3 weeks the battery in the keyboard seems to have failed and needed replaced.

If this is the life expectancy of batteries thenI’m not impressed. Is the keyboard or battery just faultty?
Should I be looking for a better wireless keyboard & mouse?

Generally speaking, we’d recommend trying it with another battery from a reputable brand. The ones supplied with the unit work, but they’re not necessarily of high capacity- they’re included to let you start using the unit straight away. Battery life can also be affected by the level of usage of the keyboard.
