Welcome to the first post on our new Disc Depot Dundee site. We hope you notice the changes and enjoy the improvements!
We’ve been around for a long time now- since 2001- and although the previous version of this site (the local one for our Dundee store) wasn’t quite that old, it was definitely getting a bit long in the tooth. Originally intended as a local sales and information site to accompany our main UK-wide mail-order site (www.diskdepot.co.uk), the intended focus had changed over the years (all sales have now been moved onto the main diskdepot site, and this one was now intended to provide information about the Disc Depot Dundee store and its services).
We didn’t feel the e-commerce-centred design was very suited to this new purpose, and along with the rather dated appearance, we decided Dundee needed better… it needed the all new discdepotdundee.co.uk site– and here it is!
The first thing you’ll notice is the appearance- it’s totally new and a significant improvement on the old layout. It’s far more suited to modern browsing on tablets and smartphones, but still perfectly usable on traditional laptop and desktop PCs.
But there’s more than that- there’s now a blog for all your Dundee, Angus and North Fife computer, smartphone and tablet repair information, far more images and useful information, and less pointless duplication and spreading out of information. In short, it’s more usable and useful for you.
