Traxdata 8x DVD-R – First for Compatibility!

Traxdata’s 8x DVDs are very popular with customers in our Dundee store. They’re not the cheapest discs we stock, so you might wonder why so many people are willing to pay a bit extra.

Well, Traxdata’s European discs are manufactured under exclusive license by Ritek. And Ritek’s DVD-R dye is one of the most compatible out there- in short, videos and data recorded on Ritek DVDs will play back on a larger range of devices than almost any other disc. If you’re making a lot of copies, this is an important consideration.

We generally recommend the 8x Traxdata Ritek DVD-R discs over the 16x ones because they’re simply a better disc. The 16x ones are good, but the 8x discs are the best.
