March of the Maggie’s Penguins- Charity Auction

These are some photographs of the auction evening for the “Maggie’s Penguin Parade” art trail penguins. You’ve probably seen them around Dundee, and now they were being auctioned off in aid of Maggie’s Centres.

We like to support local causes where possible, and Maggie’s Centres are a particularly good one. The prospect of getting a beautifully-designed piece of art and being able to support a good cause at the same time was one that appealed to us.

The event was held at the newly-opened V&A Dundee. We were pleased to win the auction for the “Korora Mantic” penguin by artist Yvonne Stewart, and expect to be taking delivery of it within the next few days (at which point we’ll let you know more).
