Akasa Thermal Compound Kit

This kit from Akasa arrived in the shop recently. Unlike the regular tubes of thermal paste we sell individually (and which can be seen at the front of the photo), the “TIM kit” includes everything you need to remove thermal paste residue from existing installations and fit a new one. It includes:-

• TIM clean (125ml) – Chipset and heatsink cleaner – “A safe, citrus-based solvent that completely removes thermal grease from chips and heatsinks leaving no residue”
• AK-455 (5g) – High performance thermal compound – “An advanced thermal compound designed to maximise thermal transfer from chips (inc CPU and GPU) to the heatsink. Fills surface imperfections to improve contact and thermal conductivity”

In short, it’s got everything you need for the job. On the other hand, if you don’t need all that, we still sell the usual tubes of paste, so choose whichever suits your needs best!
