Not fast enough? We also offer a 2 hour Express Repair on selected services. For £20 extra, you can have essential services carried out in next to no time.
We won't name names, but many large stores have (or are introducing) reassuring-sounding repair schemes with cute marketing. However, consider the company behind such a scheme.... do they have a good reputation for customer service or are they more interested in selling you overpriced warranties on a cheap laptop?
Our technicians have been with the company for years, and know PCs and Windows inside-out. They're not (for example) underpaid, holiday-job types who got the job because they'd installed Windows on a couple of friends' PCs and being pressured by managers into selling you overpriced and useless repairs you don't need. Disc Depot know computers because we've been repairing them day-in, day-out for a long time, and we know all the quirks.
We won't charge you an arm and a leg for unnecessary services. Our technicians know that (for example) reinstalling Windows is a last resort, and won't use it as an excuse to hide a lack of experience (then charge you more for the privilege!) Most days you can even speak to the same guy that'll be repairing your PC!
Can You Afford Not To?
Hard to believe, but we're not always a customer's first choice! Often we've had people come into the shop with computers that have already been looked at and unsuccessfully "repaired" by other shops. One customer who lives outside Dundee had asked a more local retailer to remove viruses from his PC because he didn't want to bring it all the way to us.
Unfortunately, although they didn't fix the problem, they charged him £45 anyway! Not only would we have been cheaper, but we'd more likely have been successful- either by using our experience to remove the viruses and speed up the machine or (at worst) to reinstall Windows after having backed up his data.
Remember- we don't charge for a diagnostic test, and our repair prices are excellent value for money.
