Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment via Protx's secure server along with Nochex and Paypal.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any monies already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
Delivery Schedule
All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at our checkout. Delivery prices quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays. AM/PM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. These can be obtained upon application.
Most items will be dispatched by next day courier. In conjunction with City Link, we are offering a full refund on your postal cost if you do not receive your order the following day. Terms and Conditions apply, see below. An additional charge of £3.50 shall be incurred, by the customer should they request a third delivery attempt. Orders under 1Kg are sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. This is to keep delivery costs at a minimum. Items sent by Royal Mail are not covered by our next day gaurantee.
If an order is confirmed before 2pm on a working day (Monday to Friday) and the order weighs over 1kg, then you will receive your goods on the next working day (Monday to Friday) or the entire delivery cost will be refunded using the method that you paid with (ie Nochex or credit/debit card). There must be no errors in your order (e.g. incorrect/incomplete delivery details). There is only one exception to this offer; If the on-line tracking information on the City Link website for your consignment states 'CONSIGNEE UNAVAILABLE' for the expected delivery date, then we will be unable to issue any refund. This is a free offer from Disc Depot. To claim refund of your delivery charge, simply email: sales@discdepotdundee.co.uk and quote your order number along with expected delivery date. We will respond within 24 hours. Please do not telephone us with refund claims, we can only respond to email requests. Please note that on "Free Shipping Weekends" we cannot refund late deliveries as they are already free !! In all cases, the managements decision is final.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. We use Protx to process your cards on their secure server so your details are never passed to us.
Guarantee
All products supplied by us, are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers Guarantee for a period of 12 months. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect and misuse. Should your product develop a fault within the first seven days of purchase you many return your goods for a full refund, providing you return the goods in the same condition as supplied. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Returns Policy
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return any such items in a saleable condition, in the original packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods returned to us incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be reserved. The cancellation must be put in writing and received within the 7-day period.
All our Grade A media carries a 30-day no quibble guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with our product, we will gladly exchange any unused disks for an alternative. Please e-mail sales@discdepotdundee.co.uk before returning any goods. An RMA number must be issued. Goods without an RMA number will be returned to the customer and the postage charged accordingly.
